Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Unit at the College of Pharmacy is responsible for promoting a culture of quality and enhancing academic and administrative performance in alignment with the College’s mission, objectives, and approved accreditation and quality standards. Its responsibilities include monitoring the implementation of quality standards, supporting continuous improvement, and enhancing the efficiency of academic programs and supporting services, in line with modern trends in academic governance and digital transformation, while utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support monitoring, analysis, and development processes.

The Unit works to promote a culture of quality among faculty members, students, and staff, and to reinforce awareness of the importance of academic accreditation and continuous evaluation as fundamental pillars for institutional performance development. It also monitors the implementation of strategic and operational plans, measures achievement rates and performance indicators, and ensures alignment of academic and administrative work with the vision of the College and the University, while enhancing the use of smart solutions and AI technologies in data analysis and decision-making support.

On the academic side, the Unit supports the development of academic programs at the College of Pharmacy and the updating of their curricula in alignment with modern academic standards and labor market needs, while monitoring the quality of learning outcomes and the effectiveness of teaching and assessment methods, it also contributes to conducting institutional and programmatic self-evaluations and analyzing their results to identify strengths and areas for improvement, thereby enhancing a learning environment based on quality, innovation, and responsiveness to scientific and technological developments.

The Finance Unit at the College of Pharmacy is responsible for managing financial resources efficiently and transparently, ensuring support for academic, administrative, and service activities in accordance with the University’s approved financial policies and applicable regulations, the Unit organizes and monitors financial processes in a way that contributes to financial stability and the effective utilization of resources, while keeping pace with the requirements of digital transformation and adopting modern approaches in financial management and decision-support analysis.

The Unit’s responsibilities also include preparing the College’s annual budget proposal in coordination with relevant departments and units, and monitoring its implementation in alignment with institutional priorities and strategic objectives, it also oversees financial expenditures and verifies their compliance with approved allocations, thereby enhancing spending efficiency and the integrity of financial procedures, and supporting the establishment of a precise system based on clear financial data and indicators.
